A REVIEW OF HLULEKA NATURE RESERVE TOURIST ATTRACTION By Chuma Velemini 15 April 2025 Hluleka nature reserve is established in the attractive and stunning of Eastern Cape and peaceful former Transkei coast. It lies within Ngqeleni district, and it is positioned roughly 90km by road to the Southeast of Mthatha while taking the R61 towards Port St Johns. The region embraced the old Strachan grant farm, and it is an outstanding 772-ha in area, which also have the coastal strip. It is created by two magnificent jungle reserves. Hluleka nature reserve provides different and plenty of ecosystems and its main appeal to the naturalist is the abundant birdlife, this includes rocky seashores, golden beaches, lagoons and lust forests of quinine, coral, stink ebony and natal fig trees.
